Center for Internet Security (CIS)

Center for Internet Security (CIS) is a non-profit organization focused on improving readiness and response to the public and private sector cyber security. The CIS is composed of four program divisions designed to promote global internet security.

  • Integrated Intelligence Center Division facilitates relations between  private and government sector organizations to develop and disseminate comprehensive, integrated security intelligence.
  • The Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center Division try to improve the overall cyber space for state, local, regional and tribal governments, sharing collaboration and information among members, private sector partners and the United States Department of Homeland Security Through this.
  • The Security Benchmark Division set up and promotes the use of consensus-based best practice standards to reform the security and privacy of the Internet-connected systems, and ensures the integrity of public and private Internet-based operations and transactions.
  • The Trusted Purchasing Alliance is designed to help in the purchase of cyber security equipment and policies in a cost-effective manner in the public and private sectors.
To assist organizations and individuals with cybercity, CIS supply resources with emails such as cybercity tips, online guides and paper and instructional videos and podcasts. CIS also provides advice on cyber security policy development at both national and international levels.
