Artificial Personality (AP)

An artificial personality (AP) is a collection of attributes, trends and behavior quirks assigned to a chatbot, digital assistant, robot or video game character. A primary goal of adding personality to digital organizations is to encourage end users to communicate with an emotional, as well as a logical, level programming.

Individuals for voice-activated digital assistants like Apple's Siri, Amazon's Alexa, Google Assistant and Microsoft’s Cortana are particularly important because they aim to replace human assistants. Google has hired a creative team to give their anonymous assistant personality, while Siri was deliberately prepared to be a little saber. Cortana was modeled after the help of real-life celebrities, and Alexa now offers a skill that allows her to be humiliated.

People are not expected to pass the Turing test with their digital assistant and get wrong for any person, but developers have found that in addition to exploring personality, some end users appreciate it. Generally, the use of humor is used to decipher the user's attention with programming deficiencies.

While the ability to whisper the AP, to emphasize or adjust the pitch, the program has been allowed to look more interactive, designers should be really careful so that the personality is not very human and creates an effect which is "uncanny" valley". The way in which the level of comfort of the viewer falls as a simulation approach, it is named for it, but it does not reach the truth.
