Life360 is a location and alert app for smartphones that allows users to share their location with each other. Life360 is a communications app for smartphones.

Once set on the phone, Life360 allows the phone to set the Geo-fences defining the selected areas. For example, Geo-fences can be used to track family members' visits or work, school or home when leaving home.

The application also provides driving analysis through Life360 Driver Safety. Integration is also available in cars, BMW Life360 has built in its navigation system. The app monitors the assigned drivers and provides reporting, crash detection and emergency response.

Life360 was created by Chris Hulls and Alex Harrow. After winning an Android Developer Challenge and getting a $ 275,000 grant, the app was first released on Google Play in 2008. The developer has received $ 90 million in funding, which includes support from Google and Facebook. According to this writing, the app has more than 40 million subscribers.
