Kotlin is a static type of object-oriented programming (OOP) language that is interoperable with Java Virtual Machine, Java Library, and Android.

Kotlin saves time for developers because low-function language renders buffer and less redundant code. Kotlin can be compiled in JavaScript or LLVM encoder.

Many ways, Cotlin is considered to be a replacement for Java. Although it is not compatible with syntax, it is  interoperable with Java code and libraries. There are also their own Library of Kotlin which was created with the initial development of its community through the API for the Android app.

In Java, there is a lot of redundancy in action and thus long code. Kotlin is more modern and it has been simplified, making it easy for beginners to learn. Kotlin stripped down, avoids functional code and repetition "boilerplate" code. In language there is null security, the null pointer eliminates exception errors. Semicolon is not required at the end of each line, however, if a developer has excluded them from habit, then Kotlin does not have any issues. Additional features reduce the complexity and code length necessary to achieve a final goal.

Kotlin was developed by JetBrains with the help of an open source programmer in St. Petersburg, Russia. In the Google IO 2017 conference, Google announced that Colette will be the first officially backed up program added to the Android studio. In addition to the Android app, Kotlin is also useful for server-side and web apps.
